Companions through Grief
Once-a-month group meeting with trained professionals from Alexian Brothers Hospice Bereavement staff. First Thursday of each month. Rainbow Hospice
Spousal Loss Support Groups Holding Onto Hope, Wed., Jan. 25, 1–2:30 p.m. Meets the fourth Wednesday of the month. A monthly, day-time group for widowed persons 55 years of age and older who are grieving the loss of a spouse. Registration required. Fee: $5 per session.

Widowed Support Group, Tues., Jan. 3, and Tues., Jan. 17, 7–8:30 p.m. Meets the second and fourth Tuesday of the month. An ongoing support group for those who have been widowed less that two years. Fee: $5 per session.
Life Transitions Group, Tues., Jan. 24, 7–8:30 p.m. Meets the fourth Tuesday of the month. An ongoing support group for those who, as a general guideline, have been widowed for one to four years. Fee: $5 per session.

Children's Program
Good Mourning Program, Mon., Jan. 16. Meets the third Monday of the month. A monthly support group for children, teens, young adults and families (including a Spanish speaking adult group) who have lost a loved one through death. For location and registration, please call 847-692-8885.

Mourning Light: Grief support group for those who have been widowed, meets the 2nd Wednesday of every month. Next meeting is Wed., Jan. 11 at 2 p.m.
Mourning Circle: Evening grief support group for those who have been widowed, meets the fourth Thursday of every month at St. Edna. Next meeting is Thurs., Jan. 26 at 7:30 p.m.
PIETA: For mothers who have lost a son or a daughter meets on the 3rd Tues. of every month at Saint Edna. Next meeting is Tues., Jan. 17, 2 p.m., in the Hurley Center at Saint Edna 2525 North Arlington Hts. Rd., Arlington Heights.
Phoenix Group: For those struggling with divorce, meets Tues., Jan. 24, 7:30 p.m.
